The esteemed Master of Wine and highly effective wine communicator, Pedro Ballesteros Torres, has penned an article in the prestigious wine magazine Decanter, highlighting the impressive quality of Cava, and pointing out that the Denomination of Origin Cava has increased the number of Premium Cavas currently available on the market.
As a result of a blind tasting, nine Cavas received the highest scores from this eminent wine expert. His selection was meticulous, taking into account the tending of the vineyard, with special emphasis on Cavas from organic or biodynamic viticulture, as well as Cavas with long bottle ageing (from 6-16 years).
