A total of 1,623 menus with Cava were tasted during the week of the gastronomic festival in the different participating restaurants. The tasting menus paired with Cava at the restaurants Mandarin Oriental, Restaurante Sintonía and Almanac Barcelona were the most popular during the festival.

The food route was very popular with the end consumer, with more than 12,676 drinks consumed during the week, Cava being the favourite pairing option of the gastronomic offer.

Among the most creative gastronomic proposals of this edition were the delicious dishes from Banker's Bar (Mandarin Oriental Barcelona): mackerel marinated in spices, salicornia seaweed and mango citrus sauce; and Hotel Casa Fuster’s roast cannelloni, foie gras, Figueres onion béchamel and caramelised onions, among others. All of the dishes were paired with some of the 30+ Cavas available in the participating restaurants during the Festival.

In short, 11 days of haute cuisine in the heart of Barcelona at prices accessible to everyone. Thus, the D.O. Cava has once again joined forces with Barcelona's most select gastronomy, supporting the restaurants of Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia and bringing the synergies between Cava and gastronomy to the end consumer.

This alliance filled Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia with the most glamorous bubbles of the Mediterranean, inviting the public to taste the versatile potential of Cava in an unrivalled gastronomic experience.
