Somm Time is a vibrant and unpretentious Lower East Side wine bar, owned and operated by head sommelier Maria Rust and executive chef Angie Berry. The bright, intimate spot quickly became an industry hangout, just as Rust, a sommelier turned bar owner, dreamed it would. In addition to featuring Cavas by the glass and bottle during Cava Discovery Week, Somm Time will once again celebrate with a special Cava-infused Bubbly Monday in-store event on Monday, 25th September, featuring organic and biodynamically produced Cavas.
Established in 2016. Maria Rust, Owner/head sommelier, has always had a passion for People, Wine and Food. She has put together a dream team of sommeliers who share her passion for hospitality in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Our food menu consist of small plates, pizzas, slates of cheese, charcuterie, and farm fresh sides of vegetables made with love by their executive chef Angie Berry. Berry’s cooking blends classic French technique with modern twists in an approachable way.
